About Us:

An Dragan Ceilteach means "Celtic Dragon", at least we are fairly sure it does. :)

ADC was founded in 1998 by the talents of Leia Rundquist, Liesl Allred, and Mindie Emmertson. (At that time, they had been dancing together for over 10 years.)

Their love for Irish (Celtic) Step dance and a desire to share their passion with others, led to the formation of ADC. (In addition to Irish, Liesl and Leia also have an extensive background in other dance styles including jazz, creative, ballet, pointe, and tap.)

Dance is their life (very close to an obsession at times) and they enjoy teaching and performing with the group.

Mission Statement:

An Dragan Ceilteach Irish Dancers (ADC) teaches traditional Irish Step (Celtic) Dancing in a performance environment.

The focus is for each dancer to understand and recognize the different dance rhythms that are part of traditional Irish Step (Celtic) Dancing in both soft and hard shoe.  Dancers will also have opportunities to learn traditional ceili dances and figure dances appropriate to their dance level.

About Our Dancers:

Our dancers vary in age from 5 years old to adult and are all students of traditional hard and soft shoe dances. We practice in Riverton, Utah, but the dancers come from all over the Wasatch Front.

Take a moment to look at pictures from some of our previous performances. And if you get a chance, come and watch us at one of our upcoming performances.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website. Come and join us at an upcoming performance…or if you yourself are interested in dancing, please send a message through our Contact Us page.
